Leonardo Da Vinci

He is one of the most famous artists in the world - and he lived and died in Italy: Leonardo Da Vinci. His most famous works are the painting of the Mona Lisa, the mural “The Last Supper” and the drawing “The Vitruvian Man”.

For the 500th anniversary of the artist, Roco designed a special locomotive that is on the tracks in Austria, Germany and Italy. (In cooperation with ÖBB)

Of course there was a suitable model in 1:87 for the model railroaders. The unusual design of the series 1216 electric locomotive was very popular and has since sold out.
